Once upon a sketch January challenge.

This is a layout I made for a challenge over at Once Upon A Sketch http://onceuponasketchblog.blogspot.com.au
The journaling theme was Lessons Learnt so I wrote about my daughters love for animals. It reads "your love of animals has taught you many things and I am so proud of how compassionate you are towards those without a voice. You're learning it's not easy being an animal activist but you're also learning not to give up on what you believe in". The photo of my daughter was taken when she spoke publicly in front of aproximately 300 people about BSL (breed specific legislation) and how it is killing innocent dogs based on their looks alone.

    This layout and more importantly your journalling gave me goosebumps. I thank God that there are people like your daughter out there fighting for those that can't fight for themselves I think it is a wonderful and very noble cause. I love that you have kept the layout uncluttered so that your words and photo take center stage. Beautiful work. Thank you so much for playing along with us at OUAS this month.
