Ceramic tiles and alcohol ink

Have had a lot of fun playing around with alcohol ink and ceramic tiles today. The effects are amazing and the colours are so vibrant. They will make beautiful wall hangings or you could even use them as actual tiles for a unique and individual look. I think i will be making quite a few more.

Busy, busy, busy

Had a messy but fun time playing with alcohol inks and Gesso today. I altered a frame I bought from a Scrapping shop ages ago by covering it in Gesso, leaving overnight and then applying the alcohol inks. I then added some rub ons and flowers. Hope you like it

No scrapping

Just played around with a page today. Had a lot of scrap paper laying around and tried to do a quick page. Me and quick pages just dont seem to go together :( lol. Will post pics tomorrow of the end result

Been awhile

Maybe thats an understatement lol
A lot has happened these past 18 months and Im hoping one day I will be able to do an album about it all. I will make sure I share it with you when its done. Today Im just sharing 2 layouts I have finished this week. They are about our newest addition to our family. Her name is Cleo and we rescued her from a Pound in Sydney just hours before she was due to be put down.


This layout is a new style for me, I was trying to go for the grunge style and used Gesso for the very first time. The clock represents how little time she had left and the wings are because she is my angel

This layout took a month to complete lol. It started out as a sketch for a challenge but I was never happy with it. Every day I would fiddle with it and change things until I was happy
